October 1st Newscast

The last newscast didn't go so well. Most of the prep work took to long to set up. JP tried to fill in for Anthony. Personally I think he shouldn't have been the person to do it. We already are lacking cameramen. He did an okay job reading his lines but when he wasn't sure what camera to look at he overreacted. He should have just picked a camera and hoped it was the right one, but instead he "broke character" and started asking where to look. at that point we had to scrap the newscast. We didn't get very far in. The entire group could use some work. I feel like they don't try very hard. Also there isn't that much I can do about it with the job I have. I feel like the director doesn't do their job. I am getting annoyed that the other class is doing better than us. I feel like theirs not much I can do to help the problem either. Hopefully the next newscast we will focus and maybe actually get something accomplished.
